Kheree was adventurous by birth, being born into the Haragin tribe. She always wondered what the lands were like, the ones beyond the waves, beyond the vast mountaintops. For years, she constantly visited the traders in Reunion, listening to tales of the lands they were from. She loved to learn and practice new things, to read about what cities were like. She took her passion for learning to the road one day, deciding to leave the Steppe at 15. She wandered her way into Ishgard, falling in love with the architecture, the great stone statues. It was there she stayed for several years, but short after arriving, she found out a curious case about herself. Kheree was unable to manipulate or use aether, like most any Eorzean could. This discovery angered the young Xaela, watching as even children could achieve things she could not. She decided that she did not need such things, and after a time, began to train as a machinist in the Skysteel Manufactory. She dedicated every waking hour she had to learning her craft, working with magitek, building and creating, and perfecting her marksmanship. Growing bored with her life and deciding to put her creations and skills to the test, she packed her bags, donned a new personality and visage, and became a bounty hunter and mercenary, wandering wherever the wind takes her. Most recently, she has set up a weapons dealing shop she calls Raven Industries.
Kheree (Pronounced "here-ā"), is fairly tall and on the more muscular side of the spectrum for Xaela, her body showing obvious signs of constant exercising. She always hides her face behind a mask or helmet of some kind, and is rarely ever seen out of her jet black outfit and hooded mask, enjoying the anonymity it provides. Almost any time one comes across her, she'll have that large framed revolver strapped neatly in a holster at her side, but sometimes out in the field she may even have a rifle slung over her back.

Kheree, or 'Raven' as she goes by, is an introverted, tomboyish woman who prefers to engross herself in her work. She is far from hostile, but is very wary and untrusting of most people, hence the various methods she takes to hide her identity and remain somewhat anonymous. Stricken with an inferiority complex due to her inability to manipulate aether, she can end up being very standoffish at times, but not violently so. She doesn't mince words and often gets right to the point, lacking some certain bit of tact doing so but very rarely in a malicious manner. While she is a bounty hunter, she has no qualms about killing if deemed necessary (or contracted to). Her morality is a bit darker than most bounty hunters would have, and she isn't above taking a bribe to let a bounty live or working for criminal organizations, sometimes leaving her on the other side of the law.

Kheree's alter ego, Crow, is a persona she dons when she doesn't want to be discovered under her normal guise. The gunslinger "Crow" will say she is a bounty hunter based out of Limsa Lominsa, having spent most of her life there. She is usually much more friendly in this persona, and even takes on a Limsan accent to further disguise herself.
